convlit software package provides convert Microsoft Reader .LIT files to HTML, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install convlit
convlit is installed in your system.
Make ensure the convlit package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep convlit *
You will get with convlit package name, version, architecture and description in a table
